Sound design should create an atmosphere to compliment your existing show design. Electronic instruments can also create new textures and moments that otherwise couldn't be used in the marching arts. As your sound designer, we work with your existing arrangers and designers to find the perfect balance between acoustic and electronic instruments. Your sound design package comes as a plug-and-play solution for seamless integration into your ensemble.

Sound design can mean something different to each ensemble. Our typical sound design services can include any of the following to best suit your ensembles needs.

• Through the use of samplers, the Pearl malletSTATION and synthesizers, we create samples, integrate electronic patches and create soundscapes for your show.

• If you need an electronic moment in your show or an electronic pre-show, we can create a custom arranged section to seamlessly integrate in your storyline. 

• We can write synthesizer parts to integrate into your full score, whether or not you are using MainStage or built-in keyboard sounds. 

• The introduction of the malletSTATION has opened up a world of possibilities in the marching arts. We write parts for your malletSTATION player and create a custom MainStage file for you.

• If you are using Apple's MainStage software to control any of your electronic instruments, we program a custom MainStage file to fit your needs complete with all of the sounds loaded. When you receive your file, it is ready to be opened and played with minimal hardware programming.

• If you are using a Yamaha DTX-Multi 12 or other sampler to trigger electronic sounds, we provide all of the samplers in an organized folder with detailed instructions on how to upload them to your device.
